What is the difference between Arabica and Robusta?

Arabica beans and Robusta beans are two different varieties of coffee and typically vary in taste, growing conditions and price. Arabica beans contain higher acidity than Robusta – producing a brighter, sweeter taste. They grow in higher elevations and are vulnerable to harsh weather conditions. Arabica beans are associated with higher prices and specialty coffees. Robusta beans, on the other hand, are more durable and can survive in lower elevations.
