Cool down from the summer heat with our recipe for a delicious and refreshing flavored iced tea
It is full blown summer time in the deep south and temperatures are hitting their seasonal peak. Luckily we've concocted a delicious iced tea recipe to help you stay cool and refreshed. Read on for how to make it!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of fresh lime juice
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 batch of Ginger-Mint Simple Syrup (recipe below) or Ginger Ale Soda
- 1 inch of sliced ginger
- 4 cups of Mint Green Tea (available under the "Hot" section of our tea in our shop)
- 1 scoop of ice
- 1 lime
- 1 sprig of fresh mint
Directions:

Boil 4 cups of cold filtered water

Remove from heat and steep Royal Cup Green Tea bags/packs for 5 minutes

Remove tea bags/packs

Refrigerate for 10 minutes

Grab your Ginger Ale and Sugar or Ginger-Mint Simple Syrup
Ginger Mint Simple Syrup-
Strain ginger and mint
Allow to steep and cool
Turn stove off and add 4-5 mint leaves
Boil 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water and 1 inch of sliced ginger for 2-3 minutes - Combine ginger ale and sugar to taste or Ginger-Mint Simple Syrup with brewed green tea over ice
- Add a squeeze of lime and garnish with mint leaves
