We all know that cold brew is one of the hottest trends in the beverage world, and if you aren’t getting your caffeine fix from it by sippin’, then you must be trippin’!
Now, we don’t throw around accusations of trippin’ without at least having a few solid solutions brewed up and ready to go. So, let’s take a minute and break down how to make three cold brew recipes that will surely leave you cool as a cucumber this summer.
La Croix’d Brew:
Currently trending across the internet, thanks to SB Nation, is the incredible revelation that coconut-flavored LaCroix mixed with cold brew is actually mind-blowingly good. Now, at first we were doubtful, as all true coffee enthusiasts rightly would be. But then, after we took a taste, something magical happened. Try this concoction for yourself and trip no more!
Ingredients:
- One glass
- Ice cubes
- RC Signature French Roast Cold Brew Concentrate
- Coconut-flavored LaCroix
Instructions:
After filling your glass halfway with ice cubes, simply – but carefully – combine the cold brew and LaCroix to create a 25/75 mixture. Raise the glass to your mouth, take a drink and then promptly send a #thankyou to us at @RoyalCup. Hashtag you’re welcome.
If you want to forgo the carbonation, skip the LaCroix and simply add 3 parts coconut water to 1 part cold brew. This combination creates a delightful chocolatey flavor!
Cold Brew Cubes
Do you love drinking iced coffee in the summer months, but get all frazzled when the ice melts and turns your coffee into a lesser version of itself? This recipe is for all of those who are ready to stand up to watered-down iced coffee, because, frankly, enough is enough. Cold brew ice cubes are the perfect complement to your coffee, and will help maintain fluid integrity (flegrity?) until the very last drop!
Ingredients:
- Royal Cup French Roast Cold Brew Concentrate
- Ice cube tray
Instructions:
For our cold brew cubes, dilute the concentrate at a 2:1 ratio (we like it a little stronger for our cubes!), pour the prepared cold brew into ice cube trays and freeze until thoroughly frozen. Place your cold brew cubes in your iced coffee.
Enjoy. Be happy. Be one with your coffee.
Cold Brew Mocha Frappuccino
This simple, yet delicious drink can be served with breakfast as a sweet start to your morning or to treat yourself after a long day at the office. However you choose to indulge, you won’t regret the calories from this frothy indulgence!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Prepared Signature Cold Brew Concentrate
- Handful of vanilla almond milk ice cubes
- 2 to 4 Tbsp.’s of light chocolate syrup
Instructions:
To prepare the vanilla almond milk ice cubes, pour the almond milk in a tray and place it in the freezer. Once the ice cubes are thoroughly frozen, put them in a blender with 1 cup of prepared Signature Cold Brew (directions on label) and chocolate syrup. Use as much chocolate syrup as your heart desires – no one is judging you. Once all ingredients are added, blend until smooth. Serve immediately!
Seriously though, the calories don’t count. Right? Right?
